When I first started this website, my blog and my Newsletter were one and the same. I used this section of my website to write articles, and to share thoughts and content with my fans.
Now that GreenSlugg has grown, I still plan to write a few blog posts here and there as I go, but overall this blog page will be taking a backseat to my Email Newsletter, Medium Profile and other platforms.
This is a good thing! By using multiple platforms, I have a lot more tools to create more content, and a lot of potential to reach a a much wider audience.
For those of you who are interested, please subscribe to my Newsletter, feel free to connect with me on other platforms, and let me know what you think of my content!

I am seeing people freaking out about the withdrawl from the Paris Agreement. Yet people are ignoring the facts on this issue.
They are ignoring the fact that this agreement would devastate world economies, and the people it would hurt most are the poor. (In fact, knee-jerk environmental regulations often hurt people in poor countries the most.)
It also ignores the fact that due to solar activity, NASA projects a period of temporary Global Cooling over the next 50 years.
My name is Greg, and I am
autistic. When I hear people talk about autism, I often get the impression that
they do not have a clue what it is. Often I get the impression that the first
thing that comes to their mind is mental retardation, Down syndrome, or any
other number of disabilities.
The specific type of autism I have is called Asperger's.
I once told someone that I was on the autism spectrum at a
place where I worked, and her first question was whether I was going to come in
and shoot...

I was debating someone I know on FaceBook about the merits of Capitalism, and I wanted to share here a bit of what I wrote.
[Person's name removed] the things you generally say are so nonsensical that I think it's going to be impossible to argue with you. But thanks to capitalism, automobiles are common. Henry Ford created the automobile assembly line and improved the lives of billions.
I can say the same for countless medical advances, and economic innovations.

In the 1970's Lebanon let in huge numbers of "Palestinian refugees". At this time, even Christians in Lebanon saw Israel as their enemy.
The Muslims of Lebanon, and those of "Palestine" got together and decided to kill the Christians who had been their friends, neighbors, and coworkers in a Democratic society.
There was one story about a mother and father. Their newborn baby was tied to the mom, and the the dad. The Muslims then pulled the mom and dad apart from each other, forcing them to rip ...

Black Lives Matter goes around demonizing police, and groups like Intervarsity Christian Fellowship decide to endorse the racist, anti-police bigotry of BLM. I will never forget the Intervarsity speakers (such as Michelle Higgins at Urbana) who get up on stage and demonize police, while making martyres out of criminals like Michael Brown, who died trying to murder a police officer.
I will never forget the Intervarsity staff worker who personally called me a racist for refusing to support the d...

If you haven't taken the time to really understand the issues, and to hear both sides of things, to reach past the spin of not just their party, but your own as well, please don't vote. America does not need uninformed idiots voting for any office in the land.

A very needed article for men to read! This is an issue that I personally deal with a lot, and plan to talk about in my videos more often in the near future. But I wanted to share this with my fans who follow my blog.
This article was defnitely written for men. Ladies have for the past few generations looked at the insecurity of men with a mix of humor, and confusion about what the problem is, not to mention an eye roll.
Christian men for generations have had no problem with male-male nudit...

I came across an Atheist who is a friend of the family who has been insisting on some very strange ideas that he thinks are "facts". Among these are the claim that Jesus was copied from Horus, that Jesus never existed, and that the books of the New Testament were written sometimes 300 years after the time of Christ.
I've shown him plenty of scholarly work to the contrary, and explained to him that almost no historian takes any of these claims seriously. (There are maybe 2 or 3 historians who a... Continue reading ...

The review that I wrote on Netflix about the movie "Alien Visitor"
I really liked this movie. It was not a big budget sci-fi type movie, but I really liked this movie anyway. It seems a little preachy at first, but it had a lot of good things to say. It was not just environmentalist propaganda. It was about people and relationships and made me think of how I have treated my own brother, Aaron, whom I am not in speaking terms with right now, but whom I love very much. I am surprised that thi...

Paranormal
Someone wrote this review about the series "Ancient Aliens" on Netflix. I found it to be a really good review, as I am checking this series out for a secular perspective to put on the Paranormal section. I thought that this person did an awesome job reviewing, so I wanted to put this up here... Just don't do the game he recommends, cuz you'll die.

This is my first review. This show is amazing in that they can tie any unexplained facet of society into ANCIENT ALIENS. T...

ChristianBook.com should test their products against Scripture. They sell books by men like Hugh Ross, who teach that God looked upon millions of years of death, disease, and suffering, including thorns, and cancer, and called it all "very good", all while denying that there ever was a global flood (denying 2 Peter 3:3-8, and Genesis 7:19-21). "Conservative" churches deny the fundamental doctrines calling them "nonessentials"; expecting students to trust in Jesus, while denying the fall, and ...

My first comment:
God knew where Adam was, but He wanted Adam to come on his own to God. Asking where someone is can be like asking your best friend, who is betraying you, what he is doing. The answer is known, but the point of the question is not to obtain information.
My Second Comment:
Also, it has been calculated how much room would have been taken up by the animals on the Ark. It was 1 deck. The other two would have been empty. People in that world chose to reject the free gift of salvat...
There is a new TV show called "Young Justice" on Cartoon Network (and Kids on Demand). It is both clean and entertaining. I am recommending it to everyone. This link will take you to a profile on Veoh where you can watch entire episodes free of charge. Continue reading ...

I am considering publishing this whole debate on this web site, however I am finding the debate itself to be very boring. I feel like I am listening to molasses. The quote below is a rough quote from Eugenie Scott made in this video.
"Is it necessary to invoke the hand of the almighty in something like cell division or the inner workings of a combustion engine..."
That is exactly the point that Creationists have been trying to make. God upholds the laws of physics, yes, but the fact that we...
Focus on being in the presence of God, not on "not sinning". Focusing on not sinning and breeding anxiety about "not sinning" just creates the sin of worry, and will make you exhausted. Make provisions so that you can keep yourself pure, but focus mainly on Jesus Christ, and in walking in scripture, prayer, and fellowship with serious believers, and sin will have no room to creep in.

What good games are available for Christians?
I think that this is a proper question to ask. I have recently played several video games, and found some to be quite positive and even fruitful. I have also played games in past years that I could not believe were even legal. On one hand, Sim City 3000 was quite interesting and gave me a lot of thinking to do about civil planning, and government. On the other hand I played a Grand Theft Auto game (I had no idea it would be that bad). In Grand Thef... Continue reading ...
