Science, Reason, Faith

UPDATE!!!

When I first started this website, my blog and my Newsletter were one and the same. I used this section of my website to write articles, and to share thoughts and content with my fans.

Now that GreenSlugg has grown, I still plan to write a few blog posts here and there as I go, but overall this blog page will be taking a backseat to my Email Newsletter, Medium Profile and other platforms.

This is a good thing! By using multiple platforms, I have a lot more tools to create more content, and a lot of potential to reach a a much wider audience.

For those of you who are interested, please subscribe to my Newsletter, feel free to connect with me on other platforms, and let me know what you think of my content!

Oracle Short Film

June 5, 2012
This is a link to a short film called Oracle - it was subtitled in English with the audio in French. This was one of the best short films that I have ever seen. I highly recommend this film to anyone who wants to take a look at it.

God

May 31, 2012
God made me a promise, and I am afraid that He will not come through on that promise. One thing is for certain though, only God can make this promise come through. Please pray for me everyone, and for yourselves.

A Pro-Evolution video shoots itself in the foot.

May 31, 2012
This is from a pro-evolution video. God's design is so obvious from this that it almost makes it seem like the enemy is fighting on our side. It is like a bunch of enemy soldiers decided to open a mustard-gas grenade in their own barracks and laugh as it destroys them.

As my Aunt Barb said about one pro-Evolution video by a woman that we have dubbed "the evil librarian" who was very arrogant, (and apparently was not accurately defining the philosophical terms that she was supposedly teaching...

Doubt and double-mindedness

May 14, 2012
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=James%204&version=NASB

James 1:8 and James 4:8 seem to have described me recently. I cannot be running around doubting, and being double minded, thrown around by my circumstances. I do not want or plant to do this anymore. (and yes, I said plant, instead of plan, because by planting the potential for doubt, and having a "backup plan" for God to not come through is double minded and wil...

Lo, a movie review

April 29, 2012
My Netflix review of the Movie "Lo" directed by Travis Betz

An excellent performance. A beautiful story of love, loss, and sacrifice. It was not a Christian movie, but the sacrifice made for love in this movie reminded me of the sacrifice that Christ made for His love for all of humanity - whether the connection was intentional or not. The wound in the hand of the man reminded me of the scars of Christ.

"Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." John 1...

Vulnerable

April 29, 2012
"If one life is changed because you were willing to become vulnerable, this has all been worth it. I love you all so much." -  Stephen Krist in a personal note at the end of the credits of the movie "Real"

I plan on being very vulnerable very soon in a video blog. My best friend and I will probably both be in that blog.
